A live mentorship program that empowers culturally responsive doulas to provide trauma-informed, strength-based care for Black and birthing people of color. Each month participants will engage in 90 minutes of live virtual guided learning. *Classes will be recorded for later access. Participants will also engage in monthly peer check-ins. Participants will receive business templates with learning modules. This mentorship program is lead by Racquel Washington, MA, PMH-C with 20+ years of community birth work, maternal health advocacy, and doula mentorship experience, the program blends practical doula skills with critical frameworks (reproductive justice, healing justice), peer support, and self-care tools to help participants launch confident, ethical doula practices. Topics include: Doula Scope of Practice, protecting you and your doula business, holding Black Birth and reclaiming The magic, the 4th trimester and beyond, perinatal loss, first aide, curating support, consent, Doulas as advocates and more! What’s Included: 90 minutes of live virtual guided learning, monthly check in meetings, *in person Doula gatherings, Doula Journal. Participants will receive a certificate of Completion.
